Dania Massey

Swim Coach

Dania Massey began swimming competitively at age eight with Lamorinda Aquatics and later the Terrapin Swim Team. She continued swimming competitively throughout high school and returned to Masters Swimming after earning her degree and Teaching Credential. It was at that time that Dania had her first coaching job at Menlo Atherton High School and with SOLO Aquatics. Her love for swimming and for teaching made her a natural coach. This passion continued after Dania relocated to the Sonoma Valley. She took a position with Twin Valley Aquatics and coached the Sonoma High School Swim Team. After moving to Napa in 2005, Dania found a home at HealthQuest and participated in many of the adult swim classes. A few years later she was thrilled to join the wonderful team of swim coaches at HealthQuest and continue her love for coaching. 

Dania is a certified Masters Swim Coach with the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA). Additionally she has a Teaching Credential in Physical Education and Social Science and a Masters in Education.  As well as coaching at HealthQuest, she currently works at Cal State East Bay in the Teacher Education Department preparing the next generation of teachers.

While Dania specializes in coaching swim to all ages of athletes, she truly enjoys working with the adult swim class at HealthQuest.
