Caterina has always enjoyed living an active lifestyle. She started dancing at two years old and competed through her youth, before becoming a cheerleader in middle and high school. Her passion as an athlete interested in her in pursuing physical therapy as a career. She studied Kinesiology at Sacramento State with a concentration in Exercise Science and Therapeutic Rehabilitation, where she was an active joined the Salsa Loca club, learning latin dance styles for the first time, and joined a competitive hip hop crew, which was challenging. She was also very involved in helping kids and young adults with physical and mental disabilities in her community.
After college, Caterina decided to travel the world as a solo backpacker. She has been to 57 countries! While traveling she became a SCUBA instructor and has worked in Curacao, the Florida Keys, Australia, Oahu, and Catalina Island. She is passionate about protecting our oceans. She became a certified Zumba instructor in 2017.
In 2021, she started her teaching credential, and now teaches PE in Napa. She is the district's elementary dance specialist. Caterina’s energy and enthusiasm will have you shaking your booty in Jam class, but you can also find her doing yoga, hiking, or playing pickle ball.
